Get started with WordPress
Millions of websites run on WordPress because it's versatile, powerful, and user-friendly. Follow the steps below to get your WordPress website up and running.
Note: If your hosting plan doesn't come with WordPress, you should install WordPress first.
Themes determine the overall look and feel of your site, like fonts and colors, and they come with various features. You can browse through thousands of free and premium WordPress themes to find the best one for your site.
Plan an outline of your site in advance and group similar information on the same page. For example, you can add Home, About Us, Contact, and Gallery pages, to name a few. You can also check out other companies from your industry to see what pages they have on their site.
After you add all your pages, it's time to describe your business. Build each page with text, images, testimonials, and other types of content suitable for that page.
The next step is to set up your home page in WordPress. That page is displayed by default when someone visits your site.
Help your customers navigate around your website by adding pages to the navigation menu.
